Journal of AI & Immersive Marketing
Publication Ethics
The Journal of AI & Immersive Marketing (JAIIM) adheres to the highest standards of ethical publishing, following the principles and best practices outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process (authors, editors, and reviewers) are expected to uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability to ensure a trustworthy and rigorous academic record.
For Authors
- Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal at the time of submission.
- Proper citation and referencing of all sourced content is mandatory. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.
- Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals is not permitted.
- Data presented in the manuscript must be accurate and honestly reported. Data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation constitutes research misconduct.
- Authors must disclose all potential conflicts of interest, including financial support, employment, consultancies, or ownership of intellectual property.
- If authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they are obligated to promptly inform the editorial team so that corrections or retractions can be issued.
For Editors
- Editors are responsible for the integrity of the content published in JAIIM and must act with fairness, confidentiality, and impartiality.
- Editorial decisions are based solely on the scholarly merit of the manuscript, without discrimination regarding the authors’ nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, or beliefs.
- Editors must recuse themselves from handling any manuscript where a real or perceived conflict of interest exists.
- Confidentiality of manuscripts and reviewer identities must be maintained at all times.
- Reviewer feedback must be shared with authors in full unless the comments are defamatory, offensive, or violate ethical standards.
- In cases of ethical concerns or misconduct, JAIIM will follow COPE’s investigation and resolution procedures.
For Reviewers
- Reviewers must conduct evaluations objectively, professionally, and constructively. Personal criticism of authors is not acceptable.
- Any suspected ethical violations (e.g., plagiarism, duplicate publication, or data manipulation) must be reported to the editors.
- Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential and not used for personal advantage.
- Reviewers should decline a review if they are unable to provide timely feedback or if a conflict of interest exists.
- Any relationships or affiliations with authors or institutions that could influence the review must be disclosed.
- Reviewers are encouraged to identify similarities between the manuscript and other published work, especially where proper attribution may be lacking.
JAIIM is committed to maintaining an ethical, transparent, and responsible publishing environment. All stakeholders are expected to contribute to a fair and inclusive scholarly ecosystem that supports academic integrity and continuous learning.
