Statement of Transparency
The Journal of AI & Immersive Marketing (JAIIM) is committed to conducting all editorial and publishing activities with the highest standards of transparency, integrity, accountability, and editorial independence. The journal recognizes that trust in scholarly communication is built upon clear governance, ethical publishing practices, rigorous peer review, and unrestricted access to high-quality research.
JAIIM maintains transparent policies governing every stage of the publication process, including editorial management, peer review, publication ethics, copyright and licensing, open access, author fees, repository and digital archiving practices, post-publication corrections, complaints and appeals, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. These policies are publicly available to ensure that authors, reviewers, editors, readers, and other stakeholders clearly understand the journal's editorial procedures and publishing standards.
Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board and are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, relevance to the journal's scope, and recommendations from independent peer reviewers. Editorial decisions are never influenced by commercial interests, advertising, sponsorship, institutional affiliations, or financial considerations.
JAIIM is committed to immediate open access, responsible research assessment, long-term digital preservation, and the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge. The journal promotes fairness, confidentiality, research integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout every stage of the publication process while encouraging responsible innovation in scholarly publishing.
The journal reviews and updates its Editorial Policies periodically to ensure continued alignment with developments in publication ethics, open science, artificial intelligence, digital publishing, and internationally recognized best practices.
JAIIM develops and maintains its Editorial Policies with reference to internationally recognized principles and best-practice frameworks, including:
- Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices
- Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (DOAJ, COPE, OASPA, and WAME)
- Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI)
- Creative Commons Licensing
- Crossref Best Practices
- ORCID Recommendations
- Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Publishing Standards
Through these commitments, JAIIM seeks to foster a transparent, ethical, inclusive, and globally accessible scholarly publishing environment that advances research at the intersection of marketing, artificial intelligence, and immersive technologies while serving the interests of researchers, practitioners, educators, policymakers, and the wider academic community.
