Repository Policy

The Journal of AI & Immersive Marketing (JAIIM) supports the broad dissemination, accessibility, and long-term preservation of scholarly research by permitting authors to deposit versions of their manuscripts in institutional, disciplinary, governmental, and other trusted repositories. JAIIM encourages responsible self-archiving to increase the visibility, accessibility, and impact of published research.

As an open-access journal, JAIIM does not impose an embargo period on repository deposits. Authors retain copyright to their published works and may archive their manuscripts in accordance with the journal's Copyright & License and Open Access Policy.

Submitted Version (Preprint)

Authors may deposit the submitted version (preprint) of their manuscript at any time before or during the peer review process in:

Personal websites;
Institutional repositories;
Subject repositories;
Recognized preprint servers;
Non-commercial scholarly sharing platforms.

Authors should clearly indicate that the manuscript has not yet undergone peer review and may differ from the final published version.

Accepted Manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript)

Authors may deposit the accepted manuscript immediately after acceptance for publication without embargo.

The deposited manuscript should include:

A citation to the published article (when available);
The article's Digital Object Identifier (DOI);
A statement indicating that the deposited version is the accepted manuscript and may differ from the published Version of Record.

Published Version (Version of Record)

Authors are encouraged to share the final published Version of Record immediately after publication.

The published article may be deposited in:

Institutional repositories;
Subject repositories;
National repositories;
Personal or institutional websites;
Academic networking platforms, where permitted by the platform's terms of service.

When sharing the Version of Record, authors should always include:

The complete bibliographic citation;
The article DOI;
A link to the official JAIIM article webpage.

Repository Compatibility

JAIIM's repository policy is fully compatible with its Open Access Policy and the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors are encouraged to maximize the visibility of their research by depositing their work in trusted repositories while ensuring that appropriate attribution is maintained.

JAIIM does not apply any embargo period to repository deposits.
