Editorial Endogeny

The Journal of AI & Immersive Marketing (JAIIM) is committed to maintaining editorial independence and minimizing editorial endogeny. In accordance with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (DOAJ, COPE, OASPA, and WAME), research articles authored or co-authored by members of the Editorial Team, Editorial Board, Advisory Board, or Editorial Review Board shall not exceed 25% of the research articles published in either of the journal's two most recent issues.

JAIIM confirms that its published issues comply with this requirement. The Editor-in-Chief monitors editorial participation on an ongoing basis to ensure continued compliance with this policy in all future issues.

Manuscripts submitted by editors, editorial board members, advisory board members, or reviewers are subject to the same editorial standards, peer review procedures, and publication ethics requirements as all other submissions. To ensure fairness, transparency, and editorial independence:

  • The submitting editor or reviewer shall have no involvement in the editorial handling of their own manuscript.
  • An independent editor with no actual or potential conflict of interest shall oversee the editorial process.
  • The identities of peer reviewers shall remain confidential under the journal's double-blind peer review process.
  • Each manuscript shall be evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.
  • Editorial decisions shall be based solely on scholarly merit, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and reviewer recommendations.

The Editor-in-Chief monitors editorial participation and publication patterns to preserve fairness, transparency, and public confidence in the integrity and independence of the journal's editorial process.
