In order for SEED – Sustainable and Equitable Earth Development to publish and disseminate research articles, we require publishing rights through a formal publishing agreement. This agreement licenses the publishing rights to SEED while authors retain substantial rights to use, share, and promote their published articles freely.
SEED supports authors in maximizing the impact of their research and ensures that their rights are protected in academic, institutional, and professional settings. Authors are permitted to:
- Use the article for classroom teaching and distribute copies to students or colleagues.
- Include the article in internal training materials within their institution.
- Distribute the article to colleagues for research and scholarly purposes.
- Include the article in a thesis or dissertation.
- Re-use portions or figures in future publications (with appropriate credit).
- Prepare derivative works with clear acknowledgment of the original article.
- Post the article on personal or institutional websites or repositories for scholarly purposes, in accordance with the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

SEED is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, which permits:
- Sharing: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapting: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
- Attribution: Proper credit must be given, a link to the license must be provided, and any changes made must be indicated.
- ShareAlike: If the work is modified, it must be distributed under the same license as the original.
- No additional restrictions: Legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from using the material are not permitted.
Copyright Transfer Agreement
By submitting a manuscript to SEED, the authors agree that, upon acceptance, copyright for publishing the article is transferred to Azura Lightworks Press as the official publisher. Authors retain the right to re-use, share, and archive their work as outlined above.
After the manuscript is accepted, a Journal Publishing Agreement will be emailed to the Corresponding Author, which must be signed by all authors or on behalf of all authors. This agreement confirms the copyright transfer for the purpose of publishing, indexing, and archiving.
