SEED – Sustainable and Equitable Earth Development is a peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes original research, reviews, and field-based studies at the intersection of sustainability, environmental justice, and rural transformation. Our mission is to cultivate knowledge that supports inclusive development, ecological resilience, and community empowerment in response to today’s global environmental and socio-economic challenges.

Focus and Scope

SEED welcomes high-quality interdisciplinary research in areas including but not limited to:

• Climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable food systems
• Agroecology, land regeneration, and biodiversity conservation
• Rural livelihoods and community-based development
• Environmental justice and natural resource governance
• Indigenous ecological knowledge and local practices
• Post-carbon transitions and regenerative rural economies
